Dog Easter Egg Hunt
For Easter, Rufio had a fun doggie easter egg hunt! We got this fantastic idea from Pretty Fluffy’s post. Rufio is a sucker for deliciously healthy and nutritious fruit so we made Organic Peanut Butter Fruit balls for the hunt! To make these we grated some organic apple, chopped up some organic strawberries and mixed it up with some organic peanut butter (made from 100% crushed peanuts) and then placed a delicious frozen organic blueberry in the middle! YUM! He was spinning around in circles as we were making them. We hid him in the next room as we placed them in different areas around the house. As we cut him loose he was confused as to where the delicious treats had disappeared to! He then put his nose to the floor and got searching. One by one he found them all with tremendous speed and after all had been found he continued to search for more! He finally gave up and decided all that hard work deserved a nice long nap. What did you and your dog get up to this Easter?
To keep up with the Easter Festivities, today’s Le Daily Bark is Mylo a 4 year old Labrador being mighty festive with his Bunny Ears on (below)! He loves going for walks with his mum, cuddles with his sisters, relaxing on his lounge, and harvesting & eating fresh produce from the garden (especially tomatoes!). Gorgeous!
Let’s try and make this dog’s Easter even better! Our featured shelter doggie today is the beautiful Tommy (pictured below) who is located at Animal Welfare League NSW. Help find Tommy a home! He is an 8 yr old Kelpie X & is the most happy easy going dog. He absolutely loves being around people & great with kids. He loves spending time relaxing particularly on the couch! He has some issues with his hip joint & a slight limp so short walks are the only exercise he needs. He will need to take anti-inflammatory medication for the rest of his life but will bring so much love and joy into someones family! Visit www.awlnsw.com.au/ or contact (02) 8899 3333.
